Last Tuesday, the School Council endorsed the submission of an Expression of Interest and a written application for Independent Public School (IPS) status.

2011 Annual Report
Safety Bay Primary School’s 2011 Annual Report was presented to the School Council for endorsement at the term one meeting. Copies of this report are available for download on our website or from the office upon request. This report provides parents and members of the wider community with information about our school, its programs and the performance of our students. 2012 NAPLAN Testing
Our year 3, 5 and 7 students are currently sitting the annual National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) tests. All students (unless they have been formally exempt) are being assessed in Reading, Writing, Language conventions (Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation) and Numeracy on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week.
This year all students have been well prepared by their classroom teachers to sit the NAPLAN tests. The test format is familiar to them and the types of questions that they will encounter have been explored and discussed throughout the year in preparation for the testing program.
Entertainment Books are coming to our School!
Books will be available early May with funds raised going towards our fundraising.
Safety Bay Primary School will receive $13 from each Book sold.
