SUMMARY:Y6 Parliament House Excursion
DESCRIPTION:








To support and enhance the HASS Curriculum in Year 6.  Students visit Parliament House to witness it in action, the Electoral Education Centre to participate in a mock election and the Constitutional Centre to extend student understanding of the constitutional division between different levels of government.   








 
Recess and Lunch:Students will need to bring their own recess and lunch for the day.  Students will need a drink bottle for the day - there are water fountains to refill their bottle as needed. Students are encouraged to share a bag with a classmate, and to reduce what they carry for the day to a minimum.Dress CodeFull school uniform including school hat and closed in shoes. TransportStudents will need to be dropped off and collected from the Rockingham Train Station. The train departs at 8:15am and return train arrives at 2:45pm.
