Year 5 Point Peron Camp

This two-day program has been designed to support students as they prepare for the transition into Year 6 and develop the skills required for success as senior students at Safety Bay Primary School. Through a range of team-building, leadership and collaborative challenges, students will strengthen positive relationships with their peers and staff while developing confidence, resilience, communication and problem-solving skills.
Holding the program in Year 5 allows students to establish strong connections and leadership capabilities before entering Year 6, ensuring they begin their final year of primary school with a shared understanding of expectations, strengthened peer networks and increased confidence. These foundations support student wellbeing and create a positive culture that enhances learning opportunities throughout their Year 6 journey.

Students will need to be dropped-off & collected at the end of each day by an authorised parent/carer, or pre-arranged responsible adult with prior notice provided to your child's classroom teacher.
