Enrolment Processes

Thank you for your interest in applying to enrol at Safety Bay Primary School. Applications for enrolment can be obtained from the school office or by downloading the application from links below.

When completing an application for enrolment you will be required to provide evidence, to support your application. Please bring the following documents when lodging you application, in person, at the school office:

1. Proof of address showing that you currently reside within our local intake area. (i.e. copy of gas or power bill, lease agreement of at least three months)
2. Original birth certificate
3. Immunisation records (from the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register)

Once the school has received an application and all documentation and interview (Pre-Primary to Year 6) will be arranged with the school Principal.

We aim to achieve a smooth as possible transition for your child, during this enrolment process so that they may commence at Safety Bay Primary School as soon as possible.

Application for Kindy Enrolment 2025

Application for Pre Primary Enrolment 2025 (Kindy students currently attending Safety Bay Primary School Kindy will receive Pre Primary enrolment application in term 2 via their classroom).

LOCAL INTAKE AREA BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION:

The boundary for Safety Bay Primary School is as follows: From the Indian Ocean at a point west of the extension of Boundary Road, due east from this point to and along Boundary Road and its extension to Lake Richmond, in an eastnortheasterly direction across Lake Richmond to the Rockingham North Branch Drain, south and west along the edge of Lake Richmond to the proposed Garden Island Highway, southeast along the alignment of Garden Island Highway to Rae Road, east along Rae Road to Waikiki Road, south along Waikiki Road to Malibu Road, and southwest along Malibu Road an its extension to Warnbro Sound. The boundary parts of Garden Island Highway (south side), Rae Road (south side), Malibu Road (north side), and the boundary street of Boundary Road (both sides) are included within the area for Safety Bay Primary School, while the boundary street of Waikiki Road (both sides) is excluded from the area for Safety Bay Primary School.

The following is an optional area for Bungaree, Rockingham Beach and Safety Bay Primary Schools: From the point at which the Rockingham North Branch Drain inters Lake Richmond, east along the Drain to a point due north of the junction of Broughton Way and Townsend Road, south from this point to Townsend Road, southwest along Townsend Road to the western arm of Boon Court, south between Boon Court and Chester way to the east, and Cato Court and Daley Court to the west, to the southern extremity of Daley Court, southwest from this point to the western extremity of Swifts court, continuing in a southwesterly direction the proposed Garden Island Highway, northwest along the alignment of Garden Island Highway to Lake Richmond, and east and north along the edge of Lake Richmond to the Rockingham North Branch Drain. The boundary parts of Townsend Road (both sides) and the proposed Garden Island Highway (north side) are included within the optional area.

The following is an optional area for Safety Bay, Bungaree and Cooloongup Primary Schools: The area bounded by Waikiki Road (both sides), Malibu Road (north side), Read Street (west side) and Rae Road (south side).
