Safety Bay Primary School has a Parents and Community Association to support the school, its students and families. We organise fundraising events like the sports carnival sausage sizzle and end of year discos, ensure parents are well informed about school issues with our Classroom Liaison Person program and provide a point of contact for anything to do with general school life. The P&C operates independently of the school and aims to represent the best interests of the students, while working closely with the school staff and board. The P&C holds regular General Meetings throughout the year.

The Fundraising Sub-Committee undertakes a number of projects throughout the school year to raise funds for the P&C. Some of these projects such as the school disco provide a social balance to the fundraising.

The Waste Wise Committee main objective is assisting and supporting the school to reducing waste by implementing 3 extra Rs reduce, reuse, recycle, while developing positive environmental values in students and the whole school community.
